Rating the New England Classics

There are many, many classic boulder problems throughout New England. With this continuing feature, we hope to highlight many of thems. Ratings are supposed to be a consensus of the ratings of each person who has sent a route or problem. However, many times the first ascentionist tacks on a rating, and no-one bothers to question it (especially if it is soft). In the spirit of achieving a consensus on ratings, we are soliciting difficulty ratings for certain problems. We will try to determine an "average" of the submittals and publish this average as the "consensus rating." These "consensus rated" problems can then serve as the local measuring stick for other problems (i.e., is it harder or easier than "consensus rated" problem #1?). Hopefully, this will allow for an even application of the V-rating system, at least when comparing one New England problem to another. The problems:
