The Tombstone Boulder
This boulder was so named because of its strong resemblance to an old fashioned grave marker. This boulder features an overhanging face with very thin moves, and two cave-like areas on either end of the stone. The caves are ripe for exploitation. Only one end is commonly climbed (in the image it is the left end), but the other end looks doable - albeit at a high grade. The face itself is very thin, and some parts are covered in slick latex paint. It is a tall boulder, and spotting here is tricky.
The side that is not pictured is a relatively easy slab. It provides a decent exit.
This is an excellent, but underused boulder. It is especially unusual since it is one of the few that is readily seen from the road. I gaurantee that you'll see this one the first time you come here! Try it out some time!
